Toning to sprayed red edge of text-block, slight bumping of spine. Near fine. Saville was an English author best known for writing children's literature such as his Lone Pine Adventure series. He wrote this series between 1943 and 1978 and 'Strangers at Witchend' is a later book in the series. Much like many of the other books in the series, this book is set in the Shropshire hills and embeds the characters into the natural landscape; however, when strangers start arriving at the door, the Lone Pine Club have a mystery to solve.
