The dust jacket is in fair to good condition. Minor to moderate chips and tears to the perimeter edges especially at the spine. Moderate wear and soiling to the panels and spine. Minor discoloration to the flaps. Original $2.50 price present on the front flap. The book is in good condition. The boards are slightly loose. Minor shelf wear with bumped corners, edgeworn and lightly scuffed edges and boards. The red paper label on the spine is worn and chipped especially at the "c" and "a" in "Scarlet". Previous owner's signature in black ink on the front paste-down and endpaper. Light foxing throughout the textblock, most significant in the first and last few pages.
