Padley, + 34 extra original hand drawn illustrations tipped in. Condition; Binding Original? Mottled, detached in very poor condition, lacks spine (needs rebinding). Contents poor/fair, some pages good, some edge staining to about 1/3 rd pages, some corner loss/folding, some minor edge tears, last page just fair, blank end pages poor, front end page torn in half. All text pages printed in red, plates text in black, base title words start in a red letter. The decorative title page does not list a publisher, just Lincoln January MDCCCLI, so can only assume published by the author in January 1851 at Lincoln. The 34 extra original hand drawn illustrations pasted to rear of pages at rear consist of architectural details, many with basic details, not sure how many are in Lincolnshire, as most do not state where, but a few named are not Lincolnshire, they are drawn on thin brown paper, and tipped in by corners, a few loose, and about the last 8 with. From a quick look on the net, at time of listing only a few listed in Libraries, and none for sale. So this is a very rare book in poor condition that is unique as it has 34 extra hand drawn architectural drawings pasted in. Size: 31 x 37cm. Approx. Bestandsnummer des Verkäufers 002024
