Photo portrait frontis plate of Author pp 88 with 3 plate illus including a photo of Parihaka Pa taken in 1881 during the peaceful Maori occupation of Te Whiti and his followers. Internally crisp and clean, top front cnr bumped, small wax drip to rear bd, front free end paper removed, light toning to pages opposing plates due to differing paper types.
