Divided into 11 chapters: "I'm a Shoemaker, Sir," "Point of Purchase," Two Feet Under," "Footwear Philosophy," "Tots and Tootsies," "For the Love of Leather," "Crispin and Heaven, Too," "From the Pens of the Mighty," "Jolly Jingles," "Slang and Sayings," and "Loose Ends." Largely comical in outlook and perspective, chock full of cartoons, stories, poems, credos, Biblical references to shoes, and much more - even a piece on the patron saints of the shoe industry. Unusual and fascinating book, and extremely rare - OCLC has NO listing at all for this book. In excellent condition save for light dampstain to cover and light wear to tips.
