433pp. Octavo [21.5 cm] Red boards with the title gilt stamped on the backstrip and "Advance Edition" gilt stamped at the foot of the front board. Publisher's red top stain. Very good. The spine ends and edges of the covers are lightly bumped and rubbed. There is a chip in the paper at the foot of the backstrip, that measures roughly 1/4 inch wide by 1/4 inch deep. Tanned pages. The dust jacket is in very good condition, with numerous closed and open tears in the creased edges. The longest closed tears are 1" long. The largest open tear is 3/4" wide x 1/4" deep. The jacket's spine is sunned, but the title is sharp. The dust jacket is also mildly rubbed and age-toned. Colberg A15.1.a. Nice copy of this advance edition that was limited to 750 copies.
