Original dark green cloth boards with shelfwear especially on spine which is worn, and slight tear on top and rubbing on bottom. Pages have some underlining and notations from prior owner; also a bit of yellowing from age. No dustjacket; First edition, second, 1921 printing with the Scribner's seal on the copyright page and a publishing date of April, 1920. The publisher was not placing the letter "A" on the copyright page as a first edition indicator until 1930.
