First printing, stated, with review slip laid in, stating publication date of Sept. 27, 1962. No markings. Text block is square and tight, feels unread. Some foxing to edges. Bumping to head and tail of spine, very minor bumping to corners. DJ unclipped with $5.00 price intact. One piece of DJ measuring less than 1/4" x 1/4" missing from tail of spine, three other closed tears of approximately 1". Some chipping. Yellow topstain. Not BCE, no book club slug. In mylar (removed for photos). Green colors of both DJ and boards are sharp and vibrant with no apparent fading.
