The colorful jacket has a few chips/tears and some age-toning.There is some tape on the back side of the jacket but it looks pretty nice under the fresh mylar cover I've added (see photo). The book is sturdy, crisp and clean with no writing. There is a tiny 1/4" tear on the back endpaper-no other page tears. There is some wear along the bottom edge and a few spots on the cover. Publisher's original cream cloth with red calligraphic titles to the upper board, in dustwrapper. 14 full page colour plates, several full page two colour and monotone plates, half page drawings and line drawings throughout by Marjorie Torrey illustrating the music and lyrics by Opal Wheeler. A lovely fine copy, the binding square and firm, the contents clean throughout and without previous owner's inscriptions or stamps. Complete with the original pictorial dustwrapper which remains entirely without loss with only a few light marks and a single closed tear to the bottom right corner of the front panel.
