This book serves several interesting purposes: it is an interesting corporate history of an important 19th century printing and book-binding firm as well as a fascinating description of the building, the machinery and the process of printing and book-binding at the time. This copy's (I will be listing a second, less worn copy, as well) spine is partially cracked at front and back though pages are still firmly bound in. Pages are lightly toned, and aside from the occasional thumbprint, clean, unmarked and undamaged. Exterior covers are lightly soiled with slight insect damage. On the back cover is the image of a wallet-sized item that was probably laid on the book and thus protected that area from darkening from light exposure. There is also a little bubbling of the cloth. Rub wear to the top and bottom edges of the spine and corner tips is light. None of the corners are bumped. Front and back boards are a little bowed. The book will be bubble-wrapped and carefully packed in a sturdy box to ensure safe transit. Bestandsnummer des Verkäufers ABH6496
