A little spotting to the top- and fore edge, encroaching just a fraction of the fore edge margins of occasional text leaves. A tiny sliver of loss from the head of the final four text leaves. A very good copy in slightly dust soiled and edgeworn non-price-clipped dust wrapper. The author's first adult book: the first of his six superintendent James Piddle detective novels and winner of the Crime Writer's Association Gold Dagger (issued in the US under the title 'The Glass-Sided Ants' Nest').
