Very good condition hardcover book in orange with dark blue spine lettering and an aviator on front cover. The copyright states 1931 date and states 'first printing'. There is a Christmas 1942 gift inscription on front free endpaper. Hinges tight. There is a damp stain at the upper top edge of book and on the closed text block upper and lower edge (see pictures). Nothing intrudes inside the pages which are unmarked. The dust jacket is a Towey replica dust jacket which has the front and spine image.
