A near fine (or better) copy with well-preserved boards/spine, just a hint of foxing internally else in almost Fine condition. Full gilt lettering/ decorations to spine. This definitely not a rebind so I suspect that this may be a deluxe edition for the more prosperous cook. All plates (4 colour and 8 black & white) present. A complete guide to the Art of Cooking Dainty, Varied, and Economical Dishes for the Household. A beautiful copy. NB: The author was the grandson of the famous Victorian French chef Alexis Soyer.
