Will Lawson (1876-1957) was a British-born journalist, poet, novelist, and publicity officer. Resident in New Zealand 1880-4 and 1892-1912 before emigrating to Australia. He wrote ballads on sea and railway subjects, as well as every day life of the period. Verses mostly from 'The Bulletin' and 'The Sydney Mail', often writing under his pseudonym 'Quilp N'. CONDITION Blue cloth with bright gilt titles, decorative eps 124 pages plus publishers list at rear. Bright and crisp copy, name at top of title page otherwise a very nice copy.
