Cardboard on spine crumbled, worn, especially on spine, edges and corners. Heavy foxing, browning on pages - dust-toned as with age. Hinges rusty. Name of the previous owner inscribed in ink and rised stamp of bookseller on the first end-paper. Tear on the middle of the top of one page, corners of two front pages bit creased - look at the pictures provided, please. All pages intact, no other marks or inscriptions than those mentioned before, binding enough firm. Sutton Palmer (28 December 1854 - 8 May 1933) was an English watercolour landscape painter and illustrator. He specialised in idyllic rustic landscapes painted in watercolours. He lived in London but painted widely in England (e.g. Surrey, Berkshire, Devon, The Lake District, Yorkshire) and Scotland. His works can now be found in art galleries such as the Victoria and Albert Museum, Leek Art Gallery and Wardown Park Museum, Luton, and also in private collections.
