Major Pryor has a copy of "Inner Sanctum" # 6 - an 8 page folded magazine sized promotional booklet showcasing mysteries published by Simon & Schuster and Scribner. Honig has affixed a sticky note pointing to the pages (6 & 8) in which "Pryor" is showcased. The Proof dor General Englund has photocopies of letters with blurb material for the novel exchanged between Scribner editor, Susanne Kirk and Jim Lehrer, Peter Robinson, Wendy Hornsby and others. These copies from the collection of the author's brother, Stanley Honig, almost certainly sent to him with the additional material and penciled note. Honig is most noted for his prodigious writing on baseball, but among his many works are mysteries and novels that dove tail with Civil War history. Solid VG++ to NF copies.
