Complete in three volumes uniformly bound in red polished calf by Bayntun-Riviere, tooled in gilt on spine with black and green morocco lettering pieces, all edges gilt, gilt dentelles, marbled endpapers. Housed in custom cloth-covered slipcase. Near Fine, calf worn along hinges, tiny scratch to Vol.II label; hints of foxing with minor offsetting from plates. A satire on the famous traveler of the British Isles and explorer of the "picturesque", William Gilpin. Archly illustrated by Rowlandson and finely bound by Bayntun-Riviere.
