An uncorrected proof copy published by Cape in 1961. Light edgewear and some creasing and rubbing to the spine edges. Spine has some spotting, but a very good book indeed. The Richard Chopping-designed dust wrapper is clipped, but uncut, with square corners (the published book has square corners) and with a longer rear flap and the publication date is stamped at the foot of the front flap (March 27th).
