George Price provided the illustrations for this 218 page novel with black and white drawings. The year on the copy right page and on the title page are the same, 1953. The book has yellow cloth boards with an illustration in red on the front cover and red lettering on the spine. It measures approximately 5 3/4 by 8 1/2 inches. There is some light toning to the end papers, but the interior is clean and bright, and without marks, highlighting, a previous owner's name or marginalia. The dust jacket shows wear along the edges, e.g. small areas of paper missing, chips, a few tears, some color loss, and light soiling, The spine cover of the dust jacket has minor darkening.
