Publisher's red boards with black lettering to the spine and title and author in black to the front board with a single black border with the Geoffrey Bles eagle in profile to the spine. Cooper and Pike note that the first edition of this title is not dated. A former owner's name and date to the front paste-down otherwise about VG with a partially faded spine, rubbing to the spine edges and softening to the head and tail thereof. In the VERY RARE dust wrapper priced 7/6 net to the spine (as called). The 7/6 are to the spine is lighter than the rest of the spine perhaps suggesting that a later price over-label has been removed at some stage in its life. The D/W is VG indeed with the shallowest of wear at the head and tail of the spine and with a short, closed tear to the top edge of the front panel. Exceedingly uncommon in D/W. Dr. Priestley # 5.
