1st UK edition.First Impression. Red decorated covers stained, faded, rubbed and bumped on corners, back cover is detached but intact, well worn spine of decorated red cloth previously been glued. Previous owner's name and address on the first and second page in red marker, first page has a tear on bottom end. 564 clear and bright pages with frontispiece and various illustrations throughout. Book edges have slight red dye from cover and a few pages with turned corners from shelf ware. Overall if the covers were readdressed it would be a nice firm and solid copy.
