A very scarce first edition of this study of trees, in excellent condition. Smith's account of his extensive experience of experimenting with permaculture techniques. With dustwrapper With a black and white photographic frontispiece and numerous plates. In a cloth binding with gilt title detailing to spine, and a green clipped dust wrapper. The dust wrapper is slightly worn with handling wear, tears and a little paper loss to the extremities. Front panel is detached from spine and rear due to large tear. Externally, excellent with minor shelfwear only and a few marks. Internally, firmly bound with pages very bright and clean, although with some foxing to the fore-edge. Very Good Indeed.
