Price of $2.75 on the front flap of the dust jacket. A nice first edition copy of Betty Smith's acclaimed and extremely successful first novel. The book was adapted into the acclaimed 1945 film directed by Elia Kazan. Dust jacket with some tears and chipping to extremities, most notably at the head of the spine, resulting in minor text loss at the corner of the "A". Binding tight and clean, with only minor age toning to the edges of the covers and minor bumping to the corners. Dj in good, binding in very good+, interior in near fine condition overall.
