Fratrem, et Brutem): titlepage; pp. [433]; [437]-980 pp.; Volume 6 (Opera Philosoph.: titlepage; [1]-619 pp.; Volume 7 (Opera Philosoph./Fragmenta Scriptorum Deperitorum): titlepage; [621]-1009 pp.; Volume 8 (Ernesti: Clavis Ciceroniana sive Indices): half-title; titlepage; [1]-523 pp. Uniformly quarter-bound with red, straight-grain morocco leather spines, sides and small corner-pieces, with titling, volume numbers, gilt on spines, with gilt bands across spines, blindstamped decorations on spines, with orange, glazed paper over boards; headbands, rose silk bookmarkers bound in, lightly sprinked edges. With printed labels of the Norfolk & Norwich Library at the top of each front cover, and their printed bookplate on the front paste-down of each volume (stating: "Presented by the Rev. Francis Procter, M.A. September, 1898."), and a more recent, printed book label, also present in each volume. The cover corners show some wear, rubbing to spine ends, edges. A few volumes have early pencil (and a few ink) notations in margins or on flyleaves, end of volumes, some scattered tan spotting to some pages. Overall, a well-preserved set, in an early 19th century binding. The scan shows the spines of some volumes, with part of the front cover and printed label of one volume. Weight: 13 lbs. Postage is extra on this item. "The Oxford reprint [of the Ernesti edition] of 1810 is correctly and elegantly executed, and, as I learn, has been attended with a prosperous sale."
