Lynden Evans (1828 - 1926) was a teacher, lawyer, and U.S. Congressman from Illinois. Full marbled edges and marbled endpapers. Front endpaper is present but detached and rear endpaper is no longer present. Minor wear to edges and hinges of boards. Clean interior with occasional pencil markings. An attractive book.
