PLEASE DO NOT CHOOSE SURFACE AT CHECKOUT BECAUSE I WILL REFUSE YOU ORDER. **** This is a phenomenally scarce UK first edition hardcover published by Grafton in 1991. This is an ex-library copy, as is the norm with this title on the odd time it crops up online. The jacket is Fine overall and unclipped - it states �14.99 net. It is bright and unfaded with one small split to the foot of the spine - a mild irritant only. The book is issued in pictorial boards that match the jacket and would be in Near Fine condition if not for the library markings. There is a light reading slant, but this vanishes when the book is stored on a shelf between others. The corners and spine ends are firm. There is staining to the top page edges and a library stamp to the bottom pages, and a library card affixed to the front end paper and two small library stamps to the title page. The copyright page confirms the first UK publication in 1991. A modern rarity, which will be missing from virtually all McCammon collections. Bestandsnummer des Verk�ufers 012850

I charge shipping that reflects my actual costs. I do NOT offer cheap shipping and add it to the book price so please do not complain to me that Bob down the road offers cheaper postage. Sure he does - but the price of his book is hiked to reclaim it, or you're referring to a power seller who can negotiate postage discounts. I can't - I'm a private individual selling my private collection. ABE only allows me to set one postage rate so I charge the rate for hardbacks sent in a box with bubble wrap and polystyrene peanuts. Where postage is less - eg a paperback or small hardback - I refund the difference once I get my receipts and know the exact cost. ALL UK parcels are tracked. if you live outside the UK tracking is NOT provided unless you choose priority mail. PRIORITY MAIL TRACKING IS IMMEDIATELY UPDATED otherwise I will only update ABE with UK tracking details on request, and only when 10 working days has passed. There will be times when, due to the value of the book, I will insist on priority mail and this will be clearly stated in my listing. If you ignore this, your order will be refused.
