Quarto. 29 pages, 6 full page color plates, bound in brown paper covered boards backed in cream cloth, lettering dark brown, separation at the gutter after copyright page and after plate three. A very good copy of a seemingly scarce work locating only 14 copies on OCLC and locating no auction records nor any copies for sale. Turner, born in 1847 was a long time teacher of watercolor painting and noted watercolor painter of landscapes, still lifes and marine sciences. He painted both in realist and impressionist styles.
