4to. Stab-stapled. [36pp. printed on rectos only]. 'Midsummer 1963: the University of British Columbia at Vancouver, Canada: a Poetry Seminar, drawing some 75 poets from Canada, U.S. and elsewhere. In this paper, I respond to the intense interest and questions of those who could not attend, at the same time offering a personal appraisal and impressions.' Outwardly somewhat spotted and soiled, the staples slightly rusty, and with a little edgewear, but sound enough. Near Fine 4to, 8 1/2? x 11? printed by poet and publisher Ed Sanders, stapled pink mimeographed pages, complete, showing light bumping to tips, very minor oxidization to staples, faint crease to bottom front corner, otherwise clean and unmarked throughout, showing no chips or tears, protected by a plastic sleeve. The author?s first publication detailing a visit to a three-week poetry seminar at the University of British Columbia in midsummer 1963. This seminar would have included participation by Allen Ginsberg, Charles Olson, Philip Whalen, Robert Duncan, and many other contemporary luminaries.
