Decorative cover (tartan) with bold lettering on front and spine. All edges a little rubbed. 5cm piece at bottom of spine missing but generally clean and intact. Internally just inside the front cover at the bottom there is a small red stamp indicating that the book wash initially sold by The Children's Bookshop Cirencester other than this. Some mild dusting throughout generally very good with crisp and clear illustrations. This is a true British First edition as only this edition states in black lettering at the bottom of the front cover The Creators of "Ferdinand" please watch out for later repro copies.
