Stated Second Impression of the First Edition of 1921. The book is bound in light brown cloth spine of paper boards. The boards have a wood grain appearance. Title , author and woodland illustration on a paper label on the front cover. The Corners and fore-edges are bumped. Deckled fore-edges. One photographs has pulled free of the string binding. Gift inscription on the ffe. Otherwise, the book is clean and unmarked. The binding is sound. Profusely illustrated by the author with photographs of Bruno, a black bear, in black and white. This is the story of a black bear cub rescued after being abandoned in a cave in northern Maine. The author was an American photographer who worked with scientists at M.I.T.Department of Biology on food contamination issues.
