Good with heavy wear to cloth at extremities, including chipping to spine ends and two short splits to the cloth along the front of the spine joint, cloth worn through at edges. Hinge at title page is slightly exposed and several throughout the textblock are slightly over-opened. Though a runaway best-seller that has sold over 15 million copies, Carnegie's self-help classic had a small initial print run of just 3,000 copies and first printings have become quite scarce.
