Beschreibung
First Edition stated. 'The story of Pancho Villa's war chest, the loot of a thousand churches and mines, lost at the Battle of Trinidad. It was captured by a band of Yaqui Indians, who managed to bury the gold just before they were wiped out by Federal soldiers. Milton Seabeck, American soldier of fortune, known to the Indians as Yellow-Head, was the only member of the party to escape. Through a year of war and bloodshed, he managed to cling to his dangerous secret. Finally Yellow-Head is rescued by the lovely aviatrix, pilot of the Blue Bird, the airplane of which the Indians are mortally afraid'. Near Fine but for small stain at lower page edge in Very Good dustjacket, some edge chipping and wear, closed tears at upper rear panel. Bestandsnummer des Verkäufers 39898
