Some musical notation in the text. Antiqued mottled sheep. First edition in English, valued for the additional 3-page postscript by Halley correcting some geographical errors made by Fr�zier; it also contains an English translation of a critical report on the Jesuit missions in Paraguay (on pp323-335), first published anonymously in French in 1712 (see Leclerc 1912). The plates are the same as those used for the Paris original edition, mostly retaining the French captions.
