28p with 14p of text in Russian and 12 full page monochrome plates of action in the Crimean War. Apparently original dramatic photographs but some seem to have been influenced by an early version of "photo shop"(!) , in that a few of the photos are seen on line with a different foreground. In soft lilac covers which are detached from the text block Some marginal toning and signs of usage - but plates largely clean. Uncommon. See scans. ! Size: 4to - over 9�" - 12" tall.
