Vintage Maurice Heid Collectible Photo. Vintage Maurice Heid or Friend photography. Maurice Heid : (1881-1957), pyrénéiste, ami et disciple du grand cartographe des Pyrénées, Franz Schrader. Maurice Heïd s'est essayé lui aussi à la cartographie, et a assuré la publication des écrits de son grand aîné. Le 04 avril 1904, Maurice Heid, Aubry, Robach, Falisse, et le docteur Basset de Toulouse partent de Luchon à 2 heures du matin. le 05 avril 1904 à 10 heures, Aubry, Robach, Falisse et Heid sont les premiers skieurs à atteindre le sommet de l'Aneto. En hommage à Maurice Heid, un sommet du cirque de Barroude porte son nom. Il s'agit du sommet coté 3022 mètres entre le Petit Pic Blanc au Nord et la pointe 3028 au Sud.
