This sepia tone photograph was developed from the original glass plates of William Henry Jackson, with a caption, number 1672, and the imprint of W. H. Jackson & Co. Phot. Denver, Colo, Copyrighted 1895. Shows the gold mining town of Victor with many tailings piles and mining plants visible. The glass plate was cracked and the curved lines show in the lower right corner. This print was developed from the Colorado Historical Society's glass plate collection circa 1970s by Richard A. Ronzio, a collector of historic Colorado photographs who furnished images for many books on railroads and mining in Colorado.
