The frontis and engraved title page are heavily spotted. Ink note to the rear of the plate showing the Grammar School - where my father and his brothers were educated GE Pidcock. Medium 8vo with brown marbled boards and black leather half binding. Raised bands, gilt decoration and gilt lettering within a green leather panel on backstrip. Bumped corners, some bowing to boards and general shelf wear. Backstrip is beginning to peel from spine from the top. Marbled edges and end papers. Frontispiece. Interior is secure and clear of markings save for some grubbiness and foxing. Contains several plates.
