Description: The map is taken from the above mentioned report, ordered by the Government of the day to implement the provisions contained in the Reform Bill of 1832, which brought about wide ranging changes to the electoral system of England and Wales. The map was prepared by Lieutenant Robert Kearsley Dawson of the Royal Engineers and bares a facsimile of his signature. It is colour coded to differentiate between old and proposed boundaries. Scale 1 inch to a mile & Scale 4 inches to a mile.
