A fine example of this very scarce map. The book itself was originally written as a teaching aid for students by Johann Hubner, a German scholar. Cowley translated the book into English from high Dutch and added a set of interesting maps to illustrate the work.Some of the maps bear the signature of Emanuel Bowen and he may well have engraved all of them as they follow a common format, albeit varying in size.Fine, clean condition, free of repairs or restoration, blank verso.
