Antique print, titled: 'Belgium.' - A map of North-West Europe, centered on Belgium and the Netherlands. It also shows parts of France and Germany. Two oval portraits in the top: Albert, duke of Austria and Maurice, prince of Orange. Source unknown, to be determined. Etching/engraving on hand laid (verge) paper. Made by 'Johann Bussemacher' after an anonymous artist. Johann Busschemacher (active 1580-1613) was a German engraver and publisher. Very good, given age. Original middle fold, as issued.
