An inset shows the course of the river Thames from its mouth to London. Depth soundings, sand banks and such are indicated, as are towns and villages along the coast and rivers. Description: Based on the map by Hamilton Moore, 1789. This map published by the Depot Generale de la Marine in the sixth year of the Republic (1797-1798).Artists and Engravers: Made by 'E. Collin' after an anonymous artist. Engraving on hand laid paper. Anonymous. Good, given age. Original folds, as issued. All edges reinforced with blue linen. Some stains and imperfections in the margins (also some small restorations to the margins on the rear). Some small creases in the image area.
