The content of this work varies. This set has several plates which carry the Nicolas Langlois address (1640-1703) but also include plates with manuscript titling. This, the lack of a title page and the paper point to a 17th. c. ed. Worldwide there is only one set of this magnificent series offered: a 1703 ed. with aparently all plates carrying the Langlois printed address offered at 48,000 usd). Clearly a scarse and valuable work.Made by 'Perelle family' after own design.
