PUBLISHED IN : 1858 MAP DESCRIPTION : Original copper-plate printed map, sourced from THE BRITISH ATLAS published Longman Ree's , Paternoster Row, London. & J. & C. Walker, Holborn, London. MAP SIZE: Folio : approx 45 x 36 cm, ( 18" x 14" ) IMAGE SIZE: Approx 38 x 30 cm, ( 15" x 12") VERSO: No images and/or text printed on the reverse. CONDITION: A large Original Map in Good / Very Good condition - suitable for framing. Large map with centre fold, normal guide remains to verso else clear. Minor marking to print area and margins as shown, consistent with light usage only, with no material effect on the image after framing. ( Any watermark present on the photo's will not , of course, be present on the map itself ! ) (Important Note : Virtually all antiquarian maps and prints are subject to some normal aging due to use and time which is not obtrusive unless otherwise stated.) Most higher quality 19th C atlas's mounted maps on "guides" , traces of this will often remain to the back , with no detrimental effect to the map itself. PACKAGING AND SHIPMENT: The map is placed in a clear polypropylene protective sleeve, and shipped in an extra strong postal tube , in order to ensure your map reaches you in the condition it leaves us !
