Cloth boards generally sunned. Heavy fraying to spine with backstrip partially detached. Edges and corners bumped and worn. Map mounted in sections on linen. No holes to fold junctions and no tears. Slight ink marking to map margins along with light dust-marking. Ink marks and spotting to reverse. An attractive full colour map with stylised title to upper edge. Although the primary colours relate to the two named counties, the area shown on the map reaches from Worcester in the south to Widnes in the north. Small geological map to the upper left hand corner. Table of distances to the lower left along with an index and gazetteer. Although this is a Bacon's map, the copyright was attributed Bartholomew. Sheet size when open 90cm by 113cm approx. Undated but around 1910: Edwardian style title; railways less dominant with a greater emphasis on the roads. More details available on request. (non362o3).
