Hand-coloured, copper engraved map of south Scotland and Scottish Borders, published by John Cary in 1801. On a single folding sheet. Very good condition, with nicks and curling to right edge of margin, map itself in very good condition; measuring 65.8cm by 52.6cm. The verso of the map is blank apart from a small label at the top right corner that says '8'. Not a reproduction, this is an original map that is over 200 years in age.
