Beschreibung

This map is a period original lithograph that was hand colored at the time of publication. The states are composed to form a regional context for inclusion in a county atlas. The map is handsomely appointed with a pastel color scheme that designates individual counties. Each county is named. The railroad network was quite comprehensive in 1875 and is nicely selected on the map. Lakes superior and Michigan are shown in their entirety. Lake Huron is partially shown.
