This small booklet is a compact atlas for the State of California. It has an initial tables of distances for 1600 places from four cities; San Francisco, Sacramento, Fresno and Los AngelesThere is an indexed set of twenty-five maps covering the entire state. Additionally, there is California Trunk Highways covering twenty-seven maps. They were; Redwood Highway, Pacific Highway, Coast Highway, Valley Highway, Los Angeles to San Diego- via coast route and Los Angeles to San Diego-via inland route. In the back are fold out maps for traveling specific routes like "route to Lake Tahoe. Overall this is an exceptional compact production for pre-federal highway numbers.
