Beschreibung

This is a handsomely composed map of the shore of the Baltic and it's 9 coats of arms as spheres of influence. It shows present -day Germany into Poland. It is well executed as a woodcut with multiple detail features as the sea and mountains. Munster was prolific user of the woodcut in the middle of the sixteenth century.
