Special symbols identify the cities of kings and preists and the ancient cities of refuge. The mountains, rivers and streams surround Canaan are named. The Sea of Galilee is linked to the Mediterranean. The cartouche was engraved by Gottfried Rogg. A second smaller cartouche includes a map of the exodus from Egypt.
