Wonderful contemporary colored rendering of the seven time zone territory of Russia just after the defeat of Napoleon. Time zones didn't exist but tlhe far reach of the Czar's administrations were well known. Just a small bit of America is shown in the upper right. Chinese Territory is shown in the southeast. Kiev is shown in the far west and corresponds to the position shown on Thomson's "European Russia" map from the same atlas. Very good with a few marginal tears expertly repaired.
